CEFLA installation complete at Boardtek and sprayed panels coming off the line stackable.

Delivered early March 2020 the Cefla spraying line is now installed and working at Boardtek Ltd Featherstone, West Yorkshire. Installation was completed by the UK resident Italian Cefla engineer and his team. The build up was completed after one week and the startup of the line commenced shortly after all the services were connected.

Paul Thomson, Production Manger at Boardtek challenged the Cefla team with an urgent order to be completed of primed MDF wall panels, so the first products were passed through the line under the supervision of the Cefla engineers. Parts were sprayed at a line speed of 5mtr mtrs per min with the desired coat weight of water based paints, were the minimal overspary on the transport belt was reclaimed by the patented Cefla recovery system to be used again. The parts then passed through the Aqu Dry warm air tunnel connected to the customer biomass heating system, utilising the heat to fully cure the parts so they could be stacked directly into dedicated packing boxes.

Mito

The Mito line is the flexible, modular oscillating spray machine for small and medium outputs.
MITO is equipped with a high-precession photodiode reading barrier for scanning incoming workpieces. Precise scanning of workpieces’ size and the processing of their position by the control software allows spraying to be optimised, minimises the wastage of paint…

Aquadry Line

The CEFLA Aquadry within the line at Boardtek Ltd is an in-line system for drying water based and solvent paints paints. This combined in-line system associates the effectiveness of high speed hot air and high radiation capacity IR lamps. It is the most efficient system for drying water-based or solvent paints.

The hot air ventilation creates a high flow-rate area. The optional infra-red lamps can have differential wavelengths and penetration depths.
