ULTIMA Kitchens, based in Pontefract, are one of the largest and most prestigious manufacturers of kitchens in the UK. The final piece of the jigsaw for the spray finishing of their kitchen Furniture parts is due to arrive in March 2021 from Cefla .
With an investment of over €1.800.000 for the new IBotic line, Ultima required a wide range of finishing solutions from CEFLA Finishing to accommodate both high volume and smaller bespoke batch production of doors and panels.

The line is designed to work predominately for “batch one production” enabling full kitchen sets to go through the line job by job, colour by colour, with no need to separate the kitchen components by shape or batched with other components of the same colour.
In fact the line has been equipped with a 3D reading system for the two, three chamber ovens with Flexpro function to adapt the thickness trays too, for example, a curved doors within a charge of flat components.
Another key feature will be the automatic colour change and mixing (3 products: coating, thinner and hardener) controlled at the line infeed by the managing software cTracker: they can choose the recipe and the colour, the system will set up automatically.
